My Teaching Philosophy
Now more than ever, we are living in a time where the future of our children is uncertain. For the first time in human history, teachers are being charged with preparing students for a world full of industries and lifestyles that may not even exist yet. I believe that it is indicative of the modern-day professor to provide their students with the tools to prepare for this unknown: growth not only in content, but development of person. As Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."
I teach to instill values, to edify minds, and to carefully nurture the students entrusted to my care so they can be prepared for whatever life throws at them.

ABOUT ME
My name is Kyle Christian, but most people call me KC. I am an outgoing, sport-loving, dog-hugging gringo living and teaching in Rio de Janeiro. I am originally from the United States of America where I started my career in sales at a Fortune 500 company and then moved on to work for the police. These experiences helped me find my way to the classroom and made me the well-rounded, open-minded professor I am today.
